On Sunday, we were thrilled to be a part of NKF’s Wilmington Kidney Walk. We partnered with A.I. duPont Hospital for Children’s “Kidney Kids” team, but we also had a lot of our closest friends out supporting Piper’s Kidney Beans Foundation as well. Here is our oldest daughter Sophia and her friends Joe and Max wearing our shirts during the walk:
The walk was a great success. We got to share Piper’s story a little bit and as we begin to ramp up operations of the foundation, it’s been great to be involved with events like this.
